Galaxy Diner - HATCH

We stayed at a resort near Bryce around Thanksgiving time. A lot of the places nearby were closed for dining for the season, so we were calling around making sure the places were open. We googled restaurants near by and this one pulled up. I called to make sure they were open before we drove over there. The owner was so insanely rude to me, I was shocked. She said had you read what it said.. Ummmmm, I did read that GOOGLE SAID YOU WERE OPEN. Sooooooooooo rude. I 'll NEVER go there, and of course advise anyone to avoid it. Bad behavior shouldn 't be rewarded. When I sent her proof, she responded with I said scroll down to comment and fine print to see they were closed. NO LADY. Google said you 're open, I 'm just calling to make sure. NO NEED TO BE RUDE

Closed! For sale sign in the window! Planned to stop after hiking and looked closed very disappointed not updated on here!

The night we went they had a t-bone special going on. It was very tasty. Seasoned real good. Came with fries, Cole slaw, sautéd onions and mushrooms and toast for 16.99. It was very tasty.

We were going to eat at the Bryce Canyon Pines Restaurant on the way back from Bryce but the wait time was too long so found this place based on good reviews. It doesn't have a huge selection but had enough choices to be respectable for a small town diner. I got the elk burger which was good, and the fries were good too. Had indoor and outdoor seating and two well maintained restrooms for customers. It ended up working out better to eat here instead of holding out until we got back to Springdale. Would recommend.

My family ordered a chicken fried steak, tall stack of pancakes, and French toast. All were fine. I ordered oatmeal and they came out with cooked oatmeal with granulated sugar. Who eats oatmeal with granulated sugar? I asked for brown sugar but they said they didn't have any. Maybe this was due to COVID-19, maybe not. Either way, they found some honey and syrup I could add to it. They also didn't have cream! Cream at a breakfast location! That's why they get a 3 star
