Bidrage med feedbackAbsolutely worth the required reservations! The pork chop was devastatingly delicious (and also humongous!! And I would literally sell a kidney for the brussel sprouts. The pickled veggies were amazing as well, completely unlike any flavor I've had in pickled veggies! My boyfriend got the fried chicken and it was so deliciously southern and the broccolini has such a robust savory flavor. This chef is doing GOOD THINGS. Also you just can't beat the amazing authentic warm and cozy atmosphere of the Trustees Building.
We came for lunch and started off with the Simple Salad and bean soup. The entrees were Catfish with fried okras and Fried Chicken with green beans and garlic mashed potatoes. It was FRESH and delicious!! Definitely coming back for dinner to try it out.Food: 5/5
I can't say enough good about The Trustees Table. It's farm to garden so everything is fresh and the chef is brilliant. The fried green tomato appetizer is incredible and the pork chop is hands down the best I've ever had anywhere. The wine list is small but included a Spanish Cava split. And, being in Kentucky, there's a great list of bourbons. We were there during the week and they were short staffed but the servers were still prompt, helpful and friendly. And value for dollar spent is very good. Absolutely worth a try.
Enjoyable meals, large portions. We split the entrees. Servers were friendly, I was surprised that they didn’t wear time appropriate outfits for the historical building’s age. Don’t miss the beautiful staircases at the entrance.Food: 4/5
