Izzo's Illegal Burrito Hammond

Showed up at 11:45 and the place was busy with lunch crowd. My order was taken and prepared in less than 10 minutes. Food was tasty and fresh. They have a large and awesome selection of options to customize your meal. Was really happy with the experience.

It's a chain restaurant, so you know what you're getting before you go in the door. So my rating is for the location. Staff is always friendly and the place is clean and well managed. Bathrooms are always clean, floor is mopped regularly and tables are clean. Above average when compared to others in the same field.

Good food, good customer service, just a little bit on the expensive side. 95% of the food is completely fresh and cooked that day, which is great. The 5% that is not fresh however is the chips because they seem to hardly change the fryer grease and the shrimp is sometimes of questionable quality. Everything else though is kept up very well. Fresh meat, vegetables, dip, sauce, you name it.

They used to have the street burrito combo. 8 bucks for a full lunch. Loved it. This izzos is much better than others I have been to.

I visited this place recently and the taco I ordered was old and tasted very bad with a weird smell. I'm not sure what happened but I will not be eating here again.
