Soto’s Mexican - Hallsville

Update: So I went for lunch today and they gave me complementary tamales, one chicken and one beef, these tamales are so far the BEST tamales I ever had! Simply delicious! The restaurant is nice and clean, the staff was super nice and friendly. I got the beef enchilada with chili sauce on top, rice and refried beans; everything was really tasty I just wish that the enchilada was a little bigger it was small but other than that it was great.

Great food, great service. Items from the lunch menu are usually served quickly.

Salsa was good. That salty smooth kind which isn't for everyone. I liked it. The chips are the type that sorta taste like fries. Don't really love them. Their street tacos were great. I tried several types and the chorizo one is a must have.

Always enjoyed this place. Went in yesterday ordered beef fajitas to go. Got home and was given a kids portion and I don't eat much. Usually order for 1 and I have left overs. It was so small I could only make 2 fajitas and the meat was not your usual beef fajita meat. Very disappointed.

I ordered the fajitas nachos to go. It was meat and cheese. No peppers, sour cream, sauce or any condiments. I asked about chips and was rudely told that that was all there was to the order. Disappointed.
