Bidrage med feedbackI have never walked out of a restaurant in my life, and I eat out frequently, until the night I went to the Wine Cellar. How dare they call it the Wine Cellar. They didn't have any of the wine on their list. We were asked three times to choose a bottle and they were unable to deliver all three times. Three of us requested crab meat cocktail only to be told they didn't have any. No clams either. Thirty minutes after our order was placed the waiter came to tell us they had no more veal chop and no more mozzarella and tomatoes which people in our party had ordered. We requested to see a manager and it took her a good ten minutes to get to our table. The woman we spoke with offered lame excuses at to why they didn't have any of the wines we requested and why they were running out of food. She was not polite or apologetic. While she was at the table I got on my cell phone to call information for the number of a nearby restaurant to see if they could accommodate us. She told me not to bother calling information as she had the number in her cell phone and would call for us! She was actually going to call her competition to see if they had a table for us. We were a party of 11 people with 4 very well-behaved children. We spent an hour and half in this restaurant, never saw a morsel of food or a drop of wine. Did I mention that the restaurant was only about a quarter full that night. Not even busy and they were running out of food. We finally could take no more and walked to Matteo's which is in the same shopping center. Don't waste you time or money on the Wine Celler. Go straight to Matteos' for the best Italian food in Hallandale.
Poor service. Meals for a party of six came out at all different times. Vegetables were cold, silverware and wine glasses spotted and didn't appear clean, lobster mediocre at best, shrimp scampi... the same, as was the veinersnitzel. Sea bass was reported to be delicious and the salad was good. Definitely have no intention on returning.
