Station Six - Halifax

We visited this restaurant for the first time last night with a group of 6. Our server was fantastic and I thoroughly enjoyed the Sweet Potato/Black Bean Burger. I decided to upgrade to the beet salad, which was a great decision. However, my friend ordered the fish tacos and found them to be disappointing as they lacked flavor and kick. Overall, we had a positive experience and plan on returning. This restaurant may become our new favorite spot!

I have visited this restaurant a few times and it's great to have a quality spot in Spryfield. I usually order their burger with maple BBQ sauce and onion rings, but today I tried the steak with garlic mashed potatoes. I'm not usually a fan of veggies, but the carrots were surprisingly delicious. My wife enjoyed the mac and cheese. We also had the Big Spruce beer, which was delicious. The only downside was the heat in the restaurant, even though the waitress confirmed the air conditioning was on. She mentioned that she was aware of the issue and that it was not strong enough. On a hot and muggy day, this took away from the enjoyment of the great food. Our waitress Erin, also known as Margaret or 'Peggy,' was fantastic.

The food was fantastic. I tried a bit of everyone's meals. The staff were excellent, accommodating, and friendly. I definitely recommend this place! We will definitely be returning.

I’m not a burger lover but I tried The Bourbon Legend tonight and it’s a must have. OMG, delicious!!! This definitely should be on the menu or at least a weekly special.

Absolutely loved our first time at Station Six! We both got the burger special of the day and had no complaints what so ever. Food was hot, plentiful and delicious! Our waitress Mitchelle was very nice, quick, and checked in on us throughout our evening. It was busy towards the end of our meal and not once did we feel rushed. The atmosphere was laid back yet still filled with energetic voices of happiness! I enjoyed that the restaurant provided a great atmosphere for both families and those single. We will definitely be back again!
