Hamachi Kita - Halifax

I went to this restaurant for dinner. The service was quick and friendly. Our orders were taken promptly and we were offered water right away. The server was fast and helpful. I ordered the spicy tuna roll, avocado roll, and spring roll (there were actually two extra pieces in the spring roll compared to the picture, but I couldn't resist trying them). The food came out quickly after we ordered. The presentation was great and everything looked delicious. I enjoyed every part of my meal (I wish I had ordered another spicy tuna roll because I liked it so much). I would definitely come back here and highly recommend it if you're craving sushi!

Was my first time ordered their sushi and was super tasty and delicious! Love their rolls and nigiri sushi, especially their seafood tempura! The salad (came with the combo) was big and tasty, their salad dressing was surprisingly good. Had a pretty good experience with the food, it was a little bit pricey but definitely worth it! Will order again in the future for sure!

This restaurant deserves five stars without a doubt. It has been a while since our last visit, and I had forgotten just how amazing the food is. The recent renovations have made the place even more inviting and bright. The dishes are superbly prepared, with a focus on fresh and healthy ingredients. I have tried many different items on the menu over the years, and each one has been outstanding. My personal favorites are the Thai dishes, but the sushi rolls are also exceptional. The soups and noodle bowls are definitely worth trying as well. Today, I enjoyed the Vegetable Thai Red Curry noodle bowl, which exceeded my expectations. My husband ordered the Beef Massaman Curry and declared it one of the best meals he has had in a long time. If we could, we would dine here regularly. This restaurant is a great addition to the neighborhood.

By far, the best sushi place in HRM! We tried the salmon sushi roll, cali maki roll, shrimp tempura, Bedford roll and the Duterte roll and they were the bomb! Big rolls, huge chunks of ingredients on top, superb sauces, and friendly staff. What more can you ask for? You can eat good food that won’t break your budget!

The food at Himachi Kita is consistently tasty and the portion sizes are large. They offer a wide variety of sushi and Thai dishes. The staff is consistently upbeat and welcoming. The restaurant has a cozy patio and the interior is beautifully redesigned. Although the service can be slow at times, the end result is definitely worth the wait.
