Cora Breakfast & Lunch - Halifax

What a lovely experience we had dining here yesterday. Our server, Hannah was great. Excellent service with a smile. We had a slight change of request when our meal arrived. Kyle, promptly handled the situation with respect, care and amazing Customer service. A well run restaurant serving Cora's signature meals. Wish we lived closer. Robert and to Susan

Our server was very pleasant. She took our order quickly and efficiently. When the food arrived, one plate, an omelette, was extremely watery and the diner asked the server to return it. Another dish of scrambled eggs were also very watery and the serving size was very, very small. The diner, a vegetarian, asked to substitute the bacon for fruit but was told that couldn't be done... he could drop the bacon but would have to pay extra for the fruit that he wanted as a substitute. This he did and received a slice of melon, 2 berries and 5 grapes, for $4.50 extra. The pancakes of another diner were tiny and overcooked. Definitely could not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I went to Cora's on Saturday, and they had a really good selection of food. I ordered the Louis the undecided, and was impressed they had options for those who wanted everything! The meal was good but they didn't give us fruit on the side, which I thought was their specialty. The server was attentive and friendly, but the atmosphere was lacking. The seats were too crowded together, and they definitely needed a needed paint job/decor refresher, it was a little dull inside. Overall I enjoyed it and would go back if I wanted something sweet.

Went with 5 friends for a birthday brunch. The menu has a lot of choice and everyone had something different. There were no complaints. My eggs benny with spinach, onions and cheese was excellent and my plate was decorated with lots of fresh fruit. The coffee was the best I've had in a restaurant so far. The staff were lovely and very diligent about sanitizing. $18 for breakfast but it was worth it.

My husband and I went for brunch on Father 's Day. We adhered to the new regulations and made a reservation. The restaurant was immaculate, all of the staff were warm, friendly, welcoming and the food was delicious! I would give them more than a 5 rating if available. Tammy and Nat took care of us and they were stupendous!
