Denny's - Gustine

The food was delicious, the service was fast, and it seemed like they already knew our order before we even said anything. I would highly recommend this Denny's at any time.

The first time you ever eat at a Denny. Had a decent experience. As one of the most important diners in the city, probably on brunch, there was a wait 15 minutes on a busy Saturday and Sunday morning. The service of the staff was very warm, attentive and focused on the needs. The food was filled and quite expensive. The strawberries really enjoyed pancake puppies.

The food is satisfactory considering the price. The flavor is okay. It could use a bit more seasoning, but all in all, it's a good option if there are no other places open. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is more like a fast food joint than a restaurant. I would definitely return.

Praise for Chef Mike on a Tuesday afternoon. This was one of the best meals I've had at a Denny's. The service staff was a bit short-handed for the number of customers, so the service wasn't as attentive as I would have liked. However, considering the time between lunch and dinner when there's usually no rush, it's understandable. Denny's is not Ruth's Chris, but they managed well, kept a positive attitude, and communicated effectively. Overall, I consider this a good roadside diner experience.
