We enjoyed the best gnocchi and ravioli probably ever! The service was friendly and relaxed. We sat outside with our dog and he was also made welcome, although he is not the most relaxing of dining room companion. We drove through Switzerland on the way to Italy, so will not be back for some time, but back we will definitely be.

Travel a lot for work, I sleep in hotels and eat in various questionable restaurants. I returned to the grotto for the first time after the change of management and unfortunately despite the almost identical menu, service and quality of the dishes were not equal.
