La Cia - GUBBIO

A great location overlooking the roofs of this wonderful town Gubbio. We came for afternoon drinks and had the best Spritz in all of Umbria.

Once you arrive to the top of the hill by the funicular and climb to the Basilica Sant Ubaldo, it is the right place to sit down for a drink or a bite before descending. Ice views.

The restaurant has a terrace with a view over the city. We had a salad and roasted panini. This was good food and the price was average. Pity that the waiter had a quarrel with his wife/boss and didn't seem to be happy at all. And then came a bus full of pilgrims to visit the place. That was too crowd for us and the sign to head on back to the car.

Lunch on the terrace that gives on foggy. splendid viewpoint after reaching the church of Sant’Ubaldo with the cable car. friendly staff, food in the media.

We tried a crescia with various ingredients. good but a little small for the total cost. you definitely pay the view but € for a frizzy slice with a bit of raw and rucola is exaggerated.
