Colichia's Italian Village - Groves

I can't say enough good things about this place. The salad... the sweet spaghetti sauce! We love this place.

I live 90 miles from Colichia's, and if we're ever close, we make sure we're there when they're open so we can take home. The tomato sauce is perfect. It's incredibly sweet, and that makes Colichias's food so superior to any other Italian restaurant you can think. The incredible amount of garlic makes it even better. The meatballs are delicious with a little kick, the salad dressing is always excellent, and even the bread is worth eating here, where other places just put some tasteless in the bag to enjoy the sauce and call it on a day. If you have a low tolerance for sugar, it cannot be your thing, but it is the signature of Colichia's that makes it a unique experience worth 90 miles for driving. Something else: consider extra meatballs and sauce on the side. I love how much spaghetti you get with a picking order, but the sauce is a little thin, in my opinion.

I've eaten in this restaurant since I arrived at Port Arthur in 1976. Although they were on Proctor Street in Port Arthur, their son Scott has received the same quality food experience.

For the first time, her cousins brought me and the Lasagna was delicious. I don't know how you can be disappointed EVER....PLZ GO EAT THERE....

Giving 5 stars for service. Sampler was great and red sauce was fantastic. My one ding my egg plant by itself sucked but the spaghetti and sauce was great. Will go again to try something different.
