For example cheap vegetables are used and are used in bare amounts in a costly dish. They don't use the Korean vegetable selection I'm used to. Recently I was Disappointed twice, most recently with the bad sweet potato noodle that was recommended to me. The description looks like a normal noodle and vegetable dish. Well go figure! The noodles are doused with a very sweet sauce. I'd say like 250 g of carbs in the form of straight sugar at least. Worse than the sweetness you get from an extremely sweet bad dessert. I can recommend the stone bowl or bulgogi, just not this weird dish. At least warn the customer that's it's sweet.
Called right at 12 when the store opened and placed a to go order and was told it would be 40 minutes. Waited 20 minutes past the pickup time and watched everyone in the restaurant who was dining in get served while waiting. Atmosphere also seemed really religious which was kind of a let down. Store is closed on Sunday which should have been a red flag, they also sell what appear to be religious CDs at the desk. Don’t know how the food tastes but won’t be back.
Best Korean food in the upstate. Kimchi and cucumbers, which were unlimited, were amazing. We ordered the Gal Bi Rib, talk about juicy, tender, and delicious. The service that Mark provided, surpassed our expectations and made the experience so much more delightful! We will definitely be back.
The people were great. I had the steak named after the restaurant. It tasted delicious with the fried rice and cabbage. With that said, the steak could have been more tenderThe honey chicken we ordered was dry and not sauced enough. Everything else was about the same felt like it was cooked a little too long. There was a lot of honey sauce on the plate, like it was poured oh instead of tossed in a bowl or something to get good coverage. In all a good experience, though.Kid-friendliness: They do have dishes the kids will like, and there are a lot of things to eye spy at haha
Good food. Service is a bit slow even though we went after dinner time and they had many empty tables. Sadly, they took jajangmyeon(black bean paste noodles) off the menu which it's a classic Korean dish. The stone plate is tasty and I like the balance of the food on the plate.
