Bidrage med feedbackAbsolutely amazing eating! chef samir himself prepared the food, and it was very well done. the restaurant was very hygienic and clean. I ordered the food to go and it was ready and still hot when I arrived there. great timing and taste is very authentic. even until the decoration of the plates! in any case will be very soon again. Thank you. chef samir.
What an incredible experience! thanks to yelp we stumbled on this amazing place while we visited from the city. Although we were usually unfamiliar with Egyptian and Mediterranean foods, we have the amazing reviews in, and I am so glad that they did! we had the tahina with pita as an appetizer and then divided the big plate I forget to dinner. it had chicken and beef-shawarma, chicken and beef-chabbles, and a beef-coofta, all served over a bed rice. my favorite was the chicken sawarma, but everything was incredible, explode with taste and so delicate. I also had a glass Hibiscus tea that I really liked - not too sweet, and a pretty deep pink / purple color. the decor was beautiful, very attractive, but obviously Egyptian inspired. many cool photos! our service was good, but we were very impressed that chef samir himself came out to talk to us. he was warm, friendly and welcoming. it was so funny to talk to someone so passionate about their food and their culture! the highlight of the meal was dessert. we spluged and got both reispudding and baklava. the rice pudding was rich and creamy and was bribed with fresh cocosn nuts, honey, cinnamon and pistachios. it was amazing. the baklava. the best baklava I've ever eaten, and one of the best desserts I've ever eaten. in contrast to other baklava, which tends to flee and glue to their gums, teeth and the dach of their mouth, this baklava was made with resilient, chewing, light phyllo teig and filled to burst with all kinds of tasty. I dream of this baklava forever, and if I'm ever in the neighbourhood again, then I will visit chef samir's!
This Authentic Egyptian restaurant has the most amazingly delicious Kushari. Coming all the way from Charlotte,NC we heard a lot about how delicious the food here is and we are completely satisfied with every plate we got, unfortunately we didn’t take pictures of the food because we were so hungry (LOL) and completely forgot about it! Our must try dishes are Kushari, Falafel plate, Okra Tagine, and chef Samir’s special salad ! We will come back again and again and again! I would like also to highlight the environment for the dine in even though they don’t have a dine in option at this time, but I highly recommend when you pick up your food to take a look at all the pictures and famous artifacts from different eras in Egypt !
We had a great birthday lunch and love the atmosphere. Overall we love and enjoyed it , we had so much fun, only the food need to be just a little faster and we waited just too long for the check....love the appetizer, I shall return for the shrimp. It looks delicious....will try some dessert later....
Enjoyed the Egyptian cuisine but service was really slow. Tables were not cleaned out after customers.Requested for a take out pack and it took forever before my husband decided to walk up to them and pick it.If you need a first hand history of Egypt, then please don't hesitate to visit.
