Gaylord Texan Resort Convention Center

Beautiful place, amazing decor. Great staff and lots of options for food and drink. Attended a 3 day conference and was very impressed with everything. Would love to come back for a personal trip.Great all in one location for any conference!Rooms: 3/5

This is an excellent place to stay! It has everything you could want you don't even have to leave the hotel!The rooms are gorgeous, the staff are super friendly, fast to help, and accommodating, the food is delicious in every restaurant we tried, the shopping is Terrific, the pool is fun, with drinks music there.... We found the drinks to be a tad pricey though, so budget for that if you like to imbibe : The grounds and hotel itself were super clean and very well maintained. So many eye catching things to see that your head is on a constant swivel every time you walk around. I could return here and spend a week just enjoying all it has to offer!

The courtyard is very well kept and this a great place for a conference.Besides that everything else was so disappointing. My toddler and I got sick here after eating at the Texan station and the outdoor pool grill. We cancelled all our dinner reservations. The bartenders attempted to make a margarita twice, it continued to taste like nail polish and I was told the alcohol was “reposado”. The rooms are outdated, the towel dry and hard. There are no healthy options for food. The juices/smoothies have more than 40-50g of sugar. Lunch food options are mostly just burgers and fried food. Out of all the Gaylord properties I have been to, this by far the worst.

It is definitely Disney inspired Hotel, but it is not worth $350+ per room. I stayed and the bathroom was old with the plastic curtain on it, the carpet smelled old and the furniture was dirty on the top. You can stay much better for a better price, and come to visit only. For kids is great, but everything has a price tag. No “free” activities… if I came back in the future, I'll stay in another place and enjoy the day here.Rooms: The rooms are old and are not worth $350+ per day. I stayed here for 3 nights for a work conversation recently. The resort is MASSIVE but beautiful. The staff was friendly and accommodating. My room was a king sized suite, was very spacious, clean, and was decorated nicely. I lucked out and had a view of Lake Grapevine as well!Rooms: Spacious
