BEST BBQ sandwich I have ever eaten, and I 'm from Texas!!!! We spent the night there in our RV as Junkyard 66 Brewery is a Harvest Host member. Wasn 't really in the mood for BBQ but since that 's all the food they serve might as well. Man, was I surprised!! I had the Junkyard and came piled high with brisket and pulled pork. So much meat that I had to eat some with a fork before I could pick up the sandwich. The only sides I had was a bag of chips and was a good thing because anything else would have been uneaten. Junkyard man, I 'm sending TX BBQ peeps your way for lessons!!! Thanks for turning me on the Junkyards. And thanks for a great nights sleep in the RV. Parking: There is enough parking for 20 RVs. Ok, my fellow Rt.66 travelers, new place to grab a beer and a bite. In an actual junkyard. In Grants. In New Mexico. Did I say it's in an actual junkyard. Noticed this place a few trips back but just haven't stopped, big mistakes there. This was some of the best BBQ I've had. Simple menu, brisket and pulled pork and chicken sandwich and cold beer. I got the junkyard, pulled pork and brisket, wife got the brisket. Both piled high and not too saucy, just right with nice smoke. You must give it a try! Great experience and atmosphere overall . By far the best stout I ever had,and I 'm a beer snob! Meat was delecious, complaints I have are neglible and the live music was the cherry on top.
