Bidrage med feedbackWe had a delightful time at the Bohemian. Recently relocated to Grants Pass and are slowly getting around to all the wonderful little restaurants and bistros tucked around our new city. We celebrated a birthday here, at 4 in the afternoon, during happy hour. Our cocktails were amazing, and the menu was interesting and varied, with some excellent starter choices that served as my meal. My friend had the halibut which was beautifully served, but she would have preferred that there wasn't any breading on what was stated as pan fried fish. It was light, and in fairness, I actually liked it, and the fish was tender and moist, not dry as halibut can be. Our server, Chayse, was fast, efficient, and entertaining. I was surprised at the speedy service considering the kind of bistro establishment this was, where service and food prep can be sometimes slow. The atmosphere was delightful, intimate but not too much so, plenty of people around but not horribly noisy at this time of day. The amazing caramel latte creme brulee was perfect. We will definitely return, and with guests visiting us, will choose to bring them here as well.
The food and service was fabulous. The waitress was knowledgeable of the menu and the specials. Also the local mulberry mule cocktail was extremely refreshing and delicious. Food was on point and so easy the timing in between each course was timed perfectly. I'll be back this week cuz that's how great this little restaurant is.
I love this place the vegan burger is awesome. Plus everyone is super friendly. a great place to take out of town family and friends
The food was awesome! We would highly recommend it to all our friends and family who maybe passing through! It is worth the time to stop in, you won't be disappointed!!
We 've lived in Grants Pass for 3-1/2 years, and finally made it in to The Bohemian today. It was date night and wanted someplace we had never been to before. Husband suggested The Bohemian. This was the most amazing place for us. Levi was our server (bartender extraordinaire). Let me tell you, I (we) have never been treated so right, before tonight. I could tell he would fit right in to our banter. He had just the right amount of splendid sarcasm that we find entertaining, but not insulting. But that was only the beginning. I don 't normally order a whiskey sour because it 's so hard to find someone who can make a good one. So I ordered one...let me tell you (again), it was the most perfect sour I have ever had. The most delightful and uninhibited balance of whiskey and sour. Next, we ordered from the Starters Sharables menu...we had 'Crispy Gyoza: Chicken and vegetable dumplings with dipping sauce (w/ Tempura Shrimp) '. Perfectly cooked tempura shrimp, and dumplings to die for. Husband had the 'Braised Beef: Tender braised beef, carrots, mushrooms, celery, onion, garlic, red wine; served with creamy mashed potatoes '. It was extremely tender, juicy and flavorable, atop creamy mashed potatoes to rival mine. Definitely homemade (with little bits of potato that you could taste and feel). I ordered the 'BLTA: Bacon, tomato, lettuce, avocado, mayo, Brioche bun '. I usually will order this the first time visiting a new restaurant. I can tell how the rest of the menu will be, by tasting this. I always have them add onions. It did not disappoint. One of the finest BLTA 's with onion I 've ever had. The brioche ' bun made it just right, and the generous bacon and avocado only helped to put this on my top list of BLTA 's with onion...yes, even over mine. We each ate half of our dinner, because this was too good to just east at one sitting. We are SO looking forward to having our dinner for lunch tomorrow. I can 't give The Bohemian and Levi enough stars or thumb 's up. Well done!
