La Huasteca - Grand Rapids

We love the food here. It's delicious, consistent and very reasonably priced. Tonight we ordered using the Yelp delivery feature with GrubHub. It worked great. Food was hot when it arrived and even arrived a little ahead of schedule. I get the dry steak burros, and steak tacos. Their beans and rice and really good. Hot sauces are flavorful and pack some heat. Order from here. You'll be glad you did.

Ate there for the first time yesterday, after living near it for 11 years. Just found out about it from a FB post by Jenna from Amore. We were very impressed. Very large menu, but I may never order anything but the Camarones a al Diabla. It was perfectly prepared. Not perfectly for a Mexican place, perfect for anywhere. Good size, exactly cooked, excellent flavor, not to spicy. The refried beans were a bit watery but had terrific flavor. the rice was just OK, but plentiful (well, it is cheap). My wife got the Chicken tacos and loved it. The Guac was almost as good as mine, so it was excellent. They do not have alcoholic beverages, but this is a small place and the licenses are expensive. So Jarritos is the best they have. I was surprised they take credit cards, but no AMEX (also understandable). This will be put on our regular rotation.

So sad there at 8;05. Must be not right color or orgin. Would no serve me. Go elsewhere

My husband and I came in for dinner at 7:15pm on a Saturday. There was only 1 other table finishing up eating. We asked the staff if we sat ourselves since there was no hostess. We were clearly being ignored and then finally the waitress came up and we asked her if we seat ourselves. She was clearly very annoyed we were there (rolling her eyes and checking the time). We double checked their hours prior to going out for dinner and even their website says they are open till 10. Will never come back here, which is a shame because we live near this restaurant and was hoping for a positive experience.

Very good authentic Mexican. I like eating here they are friendly and make most things fresh to order. I recommend this place not trendy just good traditional
