Cherie Inn - Grand Rapids

I was absolutely amazed by the incredible food and exceptional service at this restaurant. Our server went out of their way to make sure we had a fantastic dining experience. I couldn't make up my mind on what to order, so when I asked for a recommendation, he offered to surprise me. I was served a personalized combination of various dishes with rich and complex flavors. The homemade granola was delicious! And I highly recommend trying the hazelnut coffee. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant!

We were greeted by a large gentleman as soon as we entered the restaurant. Unfortunately, the small table and chair by the doorway made it difficult to navigate. The water glasses were dirty, so I asked for a second pair, but they also had oily fingerprints. My friend ordered from the vegan section, but the vegetables were spoiled and had a bad odor. The manager, who happened to be the same large gentleman who greeted us, responded by saying it was only his second day open and didn't offer an apology. We decided to eat elsewhere and spent $40 at another restaurant. Upon seeing a lady cleaning the tables with her hands and no disinfectant, we were concerned about the cleanliness of the restaurant. The noise level made it hard to have a private conversation.

The exceptional food was matched only by the outstanding service from Jamie. We ordered hash, a Benedict, and French toast, all of which were delicious. We will definitely be back on our next trip to Grand Rapids.

The Cherie Inn is so solid! Every time I go, the service and food is amazing. It's honestly the best priced meal in town for the quality. If you have friends or family in town, this is the place to take them for breakfast. Ask for Jeanie when you go in. She's amazing and makes your experience super enjoyable.Food: 5/5
