Bidrage med feedbackI am a huge fan of their gluten free baked goods. I don?t usually get a coffee but did recently and I was disappointed. I got a mocha. It was $5.75 for the smallest one it tasted burnt and I could barely taste the chocolate in it. : It also was hot. TOOhot. It was still almost undrinkable 20 minutes later to the touch! The cuff on the cup was almost too hot as well. I willkeep coming in for the baked goods but I do not recommend the coffee. It just wasn?t worth almost $6. :
I know that this is a favorite local place to shop but I also want to leave an honest review. I went in to order a birthday cake for my sons first birthday a few weeks ago and the lady at the register told me that I absolutely had to order it online. Iasked what it would be pricing wise for a one layer cake for about 15 people with minimal decorations and was quoted about$60-$80. I felt bad going in and not buying anything (I was planning on ordering the cake when I went in and paying the depositbut was told that wasn?t an option, which I thought strange) so I bought a homeade pop tart and a breakfast sandwich. Itcould?ve just been a one off but the breakfast sandwich was incredibly salty and the pop tart was undercooked so the crust wasraw and leaking jam. I was really disappointed because I normally hear such good things about sweet kiwi. I then went online totry to order the cake and was emailing back and forth with the lady in charge of orders and she quoted me $100 more than theyhad in the store and on their website. Sadly I didn?t use them for my sons cake as their pricing was out of my budget. Edit: Iwaited several weeks to write this review because I was really upset with the difference in cake pricing and found it extremelyunprofessional.
The staff at sweet kiwi always impresses me. So friendly! Feels like I?m visiting old friends every time I?m in town. The food is so delicious making it hard to choose. I could eat an entire quiche if I had the time. Treat yourself and pick up something!
Nice people, great food, and a good selection of gluten-free goodies. I'd suggest better labeling of gluten-free items, and expeditious addition of a GF cinnamon roll. Warning to those with dog allergies, they did inform me the hairs I found on mytreats were from a dog... Not something that bothers me personally as someone with 5 furry family members in my house, but Irealize others may find it off-putting.
Amazing gluten free options and they?re all made in house! The dirty chai latte has the perfect amount of chai and they offer dairy free milk options! This place is adorable and the staff is amazing and happy to help with recommendations
