Mary Brown's Fried Chicken

We had a large group of family and friends coming over on Friday night, so we decided to order takeout. We chose Mary Brown's because it had been a while. What a delicious meal! The service was very fast, even though the restaurant was busy, and the food was very fresh. The staff were very friendly. We also ordered a poutine with taters and real cheese. It was the best poutine I have ever had!! I have to say, Mary Brown's definitely did not disappoint!

I went through the Drivethru 8:30 this evening. ordered after waiting 10 mins for someone to answer on the speaker,i ordered(2) 3 pieces of dinner and they said hold for a minute, and I waited another 5 minutes for them back on speaker....then she said that they did not give enough large pieces of chicken for what I ordered, so she said, you would be ready to take small pieces and give them sick 2 legs. I said yes, and went through the window. She took my money (i paid cash) then I asked her at the window when she closed and she said inside at 9 a.m. and drive at 10 a.m., and I said you did not cook more chicken and you have an hour and a half before you close. which she answered, it takes 25 minutes for chicken and the girl is now on break, so it will be longer. So I said ok and she went on to get my chicken, I saw her through the drive thru window and I saw her get my chicken with her fingers without gloves. then she licked her fingers and put her hand in the big bucket of the perpetrators and put them in the frit without washing her hands after she had treated my chicken with her fingers. So I blow my car horn and she came to the window and I told her I wanted my money back, and she went to the chef who was there to ask for help as I refund my money, and she came back to the window and said you would take something with cash back and I said I paid you cash and she said yes! So she gave my money back and I asked for her name and the cook name and I told her the manager would know tomorrow that she picked up my chicken with her fingers. I called this restorer three times last year for Similair concerns. This is not good enough. Sure, they give your meal for free at the next visit, but nothing is done to correct this sanitary concern. his sparing enough to eat now a day, but you expect it clean!!!! Get your act together Grand Falls Windsor Mary Browns!!!!

I really enjoyed the chicken, fries, and coleslaw at Mary Brown's. The chicken was juicy and crispy, the fries were not greasy and had a lot of flavor, and the coleslaw was the best I've had in a long time. The staff was quick and friendly. I would definitely go back to visit them again. It was my first time at Mary Brown's and I was pleasantly surprised.

Great chicken big people very consistent quality. Love the tater dead and gravy. Tastes like homemade when you are away from home. Good comfort food.

Stopped by here with another couple for a quick bite between errands. We had the Big Mary Combo and the Popcorn chicken. Decent for fast food. Certainly satisfied our hunger pangs.
