Questo localino in centro a Verucchio è stato il nostro pit-stop al nostro rientro in albergo per una breve merenda. Proprietario simpatico e gentile, ci ha esposto i prodotti locali al banco e in vendita, per gran parte di produzione propria utilizzando farina da grano antico Verna, a bassa maglia glutinica. Forno, a pastry shop that uses only organic Verna wheat flour with a very low gluten content, suitable for sensitive people (not celiacs), as well as other delicacies in the nearby restaurant which unfortunately we did not try. Dietary restrictions: The bread and baked goods are made with Verna wheat flour (grown by them) and stone ground at a controlled temperature. Price per person: €10–20

We found this little place to have an aperitif, waiting for the evening visit to the Azzurrina castle. The place is really nice, very intimate and family-run. The owners were super courteous and welcoming. They have many varieties of gin and the spritz we drank was exceptional. They also have vegan options. I recommend going there! Price per person: €1–10

After a visit to the beautiful historic center of Verucchio, we found ourselves almost at closing time in this surprising little place where we were greeted with such kindness. Good buffet with many original and appetizing things accompanied by an excellent glass of locally produced red. Parking: The town is small but there are several public car parks.
