Yuzu Lounge - Gold Coast

Great traditional field, friendly staff, quick, cheap, simple and delicious food. Great spot, my new favourite Japanese Restaurant! Would absolutely recommend to any Japanese Food seekers!

The staff provided excellent service despite a slight language barrier, they were very attentive. The menu had a wide variety of delicious Japanese options to choose from. We started with a cup of coffee, which was very enjoyable. The Salmon sushi was fresh and made to order, perfectly presented. The teriyaki chicken with rice and miso soup was nicely presented, but the chicken was slightly overcooked and needed more sauce. The yaki soba noodles with tempura prawns were delicious, although the broth could have been hotter. The restaurant, Yuzu, had a nice decor and an open kitchen where you can watch the chefs cook. Overall, if you enjoy Japanese food, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

The food was delicious, especially the chicken katsu.

Yuzu Lounge is a fantastic Japanese casual dining café/restaurant that recently opened. Located just below where I live, I was eager to try their dishes. On a Saturday night, feeling lazy to cook, I decided to visit and sample their menu. The moment I walked in, I was welcomed by a cheerful waiter and the ambiance, themed around nature, was delightful. The restaurant was buzzing with groups, couples, and families enjoying their beautifully presented dishes. I ordered Karaage Chicken, Tuna Carpaccio, Spring Rolls, and Teriyaki Roll Sushi - all of which were outstanding. The attention to detail in each dish was impressive. Yuzu Lounge has now become my go-to place for unwinding after a long week. With excellent customer service, delicious food, and reasonable prices, I will definitely be returning.

Yuzu Lounge is not the Gold Coast’s first Izakaya restaurant, but it’s a great new addition to the dining scene for a quick, nutritious yet relaxing lunch or dinner; a great place to go on the weekend with friends or family to share a few drinks accompanied by Japanese tapas.
