Salute Organic Cafe & Bar - Gold Coast

Enjoyed a tasty and wholesome breakfast and coffee here this morning. A lovely cafe right on the beach, the service was great and attentive.. a young man was our waiter, he was friendly and delivered service with a smile. We needed something quick before heading to the airport for our flight, and even though it seemed pretty busy in there we were in an out within an hour or so. If we were local we’d definitely be back more often but for now it’ll have to be yearly visits when we come to town.

I absolutely adore this cafe! The coffee is fantastic, the food is incredibly delicious, and the presentation is top-notch. Whenever we're in the Gold Coast, Elk is our go-to spot for breakfast or lunch. The locals should count themselves lucky to have one of the best cafes in Australia right in their neighborhood!

Had the best breakfast hot chocolate today I just had to come on and leave a review. The green scrambled eggs with sausage is just beautiful, compliments to the chefs for a really yummy breakfast. The Lindt hot chocolate is GORGEOUS, best hot chocolate I’ve had. A very well run cafe with really friendly staff, gorgeous food in a lovely spot what more could you want? Can see why the place is always busy.

I LOVE this place. Perfect location to get some coffee and sun early in the morning. Being an early riser, having this place open from 5:45am is a huge bonus. Food is amazing, coffee is great! I love the Lindt Mocha, not so great for the hips but definitely worth it. Staff are always amazing and are fun to have convos with. Get there early if you want the pick of the tables!

This restaurant is clearly popular for a reason. The café has a great vibe, a convenient location, and it was busy in a good way. The customer service was excellent and the quality of the food was top-notch. My friend loved their eggs, although my banana bread was a bit plain. I didn't mind though, since it was vegan. The highlight for me was their coffee selection. I was thrilled to see they offered pour over filter coffee, specifically the Proud Mary Ethiopian single origin blend that I had been craving. The $7 bottomless batchy option allowed me to relax and soak in the atmosphere for a while. Overall, a great experience.
