Corse Lawn Bistro - Gloucester

We decided to try this restaurant based on the recommendations on TripAdvisor. My wife ordered the Prix Fixe menu, while I opted for the à la carte menu. The appetizer of sea roast was delicious but a bit small in portion size, while my wife enjoyed a generous portion of pheasant dish. Both dishes were presented beautifully. For the main course, the cattle cheeks were amazing and my wife continued with the game theme by ordering venison. The venison dish was slightly smaller than her pheasant starter, but it was well-cooked with a flavorful sauce. Desserts included a tasty crème brûlée and a cheese board with a good selection of cheese. Overall, we spent £90 including a 17% tip and wine. We would recommend this restaurant.

The food at this restaurant is top-notch. It is excellent and the overall experience is very pleasant.

The variety of dishes offered on the Bistro Tabled'Hote menu was lacking and underwhelming.

That is a nice restaurant that always when we get it really nice food excellent service in a beautiful old fashion building we think the best in Gloucester book

A meal with friends. Highlights included Ox tongue starter and Beef Cheeks main course. The partridge was nicely cooked and great flavour. A request for extra vegetables was not a problem. We enjoyed our evening thank you.
