Bidrage med feedbackGreat restaurant and staff. Appetizers, ducks and deserts were amazing. Definitely will return.
We went on Wednesday at 245, and there was hardly anyone there. It took about 5 minutes until someone realized I was waiting to sit. I wanted us to sit outside if it were possible. Outside was nice with the waterfall and fish, except it saw cigarettes (he said people were allowed to smoke freely). Our waiter was nice, but it took a LONG time between our drinks (water), order our food, order dessert and check. We wanted to eat and go what was confirmed with the man who sat us, but we were there for 2 hours due to the long waiting period in between. We ordered pizza and dessert. The pizza was the best pizza we ever had! The desserts were rich and tasteful. Price is on the higher side, but it is a fancier restaurant. They had no vegetarian options (not that I saw) that were annoying. The bathrooms were well maintained and clean.
Laura our waiting staff was excellent, sweet and attentive. I had seafood Julianne who didn't come with Pasta. Laura saw my disappointment and went to me a bed of perfectly boiled linguini. My husband had chicken stable he said was delicious. The prices were fair for the portion size.
No bad meal yet. Ravioli alla Jojo is our favorite. It doesn't seem to distract. You can also lift it from a small plate to a dinner section. Service is always good.
We had a great experience at Italian Affair. The ambiance was nice, the hostesses and waitstaff were friendly and attentive and the food was very good. We came in from out of town for a concert at a local university concert hall, so we were seeking a restaurant that was close by and possibly the best we could get in the area. Extensive bar list and menu. Met Giuseppe, the owner, and had an overall great time.
