Jinty Mcguinty's - Glasgow City

This restaurant is a must for after-dinner drinks and maybe a final stop for the night. The staff is fantastic, the crowd is lively, and the musician is excellent. I sat alone at a table and had a great time.

I enjoy visiting Irish pubs and this one was a great find! I ordered a delicious Guinness that came with a picture printed on the foam, which was a nice touch. The pub has a cozy atmosphere and I can't wait to return!

The next day, in a panic, we returned to the bar to retrace our steps from the night before. Thankfully, Emily, who was behind the bar, had kept the passport safe after Jack found it while tidying up. I am grateful to the owner for not only having a good bar but also for having trustworthy and reliable staff like Emily and Jack. My daughter flew to Poland yesterday, so I want to say thank you to Emily and Jack for their honesty and help.

Was out for a walk around Kelvingrove Park and Dumbarton Road, then up Byers Road . Was a lovely sunny day and thought we would stop in at JintyMcgintys in Ashton Lane. Got our drinks and headed into the beer garden. Drinks were ok, if a bit on the expensive side, the entertainment of mice was interesting. Left quickly.

Good to see it back open again. Just the same as before really. Friendly bar staff and not as dear as the rest of Ashton Lane. Fairly weird having no cash machine, but no big deal. Fairly good Guinness as well.
