Gita Gili - Gili Islands

The pizzas are amazing!!! We have been here 5 different times because they are so much better than anywhere else! We keep coming back. Vegetarian options available. Friendly staff and delicious food! Highly recommend!!!

This place got a really nice setting, on the est side of Gili Air, with a terrace just in front of the sea. We had wood oven pizzas here (chicken, salami for 70k and margarita for 50k). They were ok, definitely not crazy and rather medium/small. For the price it was alright. However the service was really good, we even got a free dessert (banana pancake).

We asked if they have cold coconuts, which they confirmed, we got warm coconuts. We ordered garlic bread and French fries tossed with cheddar cheese, well we got 5 little pieces of Baguette with a little bit of roasted garlic on top and then we waited 40 minutes for fries. In the mean time they asked us several times if we ordered fries, which we confirmed and said with cheese. After 40 minutes we got fries, without cheese. They had 3 tables (ours included) to serve and there were at least 5 waiters. We were annoyed and said that we don’t want the fries with cheese anymore but instead the bill. Wouldn’t recommend it.

The food here set me back about $23AUD including 2 fish, a few prawns, and all the accompanying sauces, rice, etc. Amazing food and great value.
