Kona Grill Gilbert

The Poke Bowl with tuna and rice was excellent as the salads our friends had. We had a wonderful lunch, with a great waiter and it was a good choice for our International Women's Day celebration.

We reserved an outside table. We were assigned to a high table top. We saw an empty standard table in the area, even outdoors. We requested this table. We were told we had to wait 25 minutes to get a standard table EVEN THOUGH what WE MADE OUR RESERVATION FOR! The walk-ins have our desired table. WAS GOOD is it, a RESULTS???? The hightop was very crowded for the 4 of us with our drinks, apps and meals.

We waited over 30 minutes to get our table even though we had a reservation. Our food took an extremely long time to arrive and we had five children with us. Our server Blake was great, but we won’t be returning to Kona Grill because of the overall poor experience. Having a reservation should count for something.

It was good food but ridiculous that we waited 1 hour to get our appetizer of tuna tartar…even our waitress was embarrassed and kept apologizing to us..we informed her it’s not her fault and appreciated her checking in with us. This was strictly managements fault.

Poor service, incorrect orders, below average food, loud music. An overall poor experience.
