Mi Rancho - Germantown

I literally saw TWO rats coming out by the entrance RIGHT NOW, as I was parking to have dinner here! It’s a NEVER AGAIN for me.

Consistently delicious food and attentive, friendly service. Over the 15+ years as regular patrons we have always gone home full and happy. Love the fajitas- especially the fresh tortillas. Kudos to the team at the Germantown Mi Rancho ??

My girlfriend and I went yesterday evening and had such a good time. The chips and queso were delicious. The salsa was more of a let down. Had a a marinara consistency/taste. I would love to see a more smokey grilled flavor. The frozen margaritas were delicious. You can tell they use fresh fruit in them. We had Passion fruit, Mango, Peach, Banana and Strawberry. To eat we had the Cheese and Shrimp enchilada, and the lobster tail Combinados a la Parrilla. Enchiladas were super cheesy. We probably would not get the straight cheese enchilada next time because of how cheesy it was. For the lobster tail all the proteins were cooked perfectly. They were a little heavy-handed with the old bay seasoning on the seafood and in the dipping butter. The tortillas were handmade and the chips were hot. The waiter and the service was great 10 out of 10 will recommend and will be definitely going back !

I had a beef chimichanga and a golden Cadillac margherita. Both were good as well as the service. The only drawback was the temperature of the restaurant itself. I realize it was 95 outside, but you felt hardly any relief when you walked inside. That was the only thing. Otherwise it's a nice place to visit and have drinks and dinner.

NOT SAFE FOR ALLERGIES. I went here for the first time and asked if my dish has any gluten containing ingredients, instead of asking the chef the server told me it didn’t. Upon receiving my dish (vegetable fajitas with meat) I took a bite and it tasted like it had been cooked in soy sauce. I felt odd asking because one would not expect a Mexican restaurant to use soy sauce. The server said they didn’t think so but then checked with the chef and the vegetables were cooked in soy sauce. I asked for the dish to be taken care of and they remade it. When the check came the dish was on there and I had to argue with the server that it was a mistake and why it should be removed. He claimed that I had not asked if everything was gluten free, but I had. Eventually they took it off. I will not be returning. This being said, my two friends enjoyed their dishes. Unfortunate the staff were not knowledgeable on the ingredients. Dietary restrictions: Server was not knowledgeable with ingredients of items. Was served an item with gluten after stated having an allergy.
