Bay Leaf - Gedling

This is a fantastic takeaway. Tried for first time tonight and was greatly impressed. 5* star rated.... had the meal for 2 and it could have fed 4... the quality was lovely and the price great. Would recommend to all.

I’ve been visiting this takeaway for a very long time and the food has been consistently great. The curries are flavoursome and the starters are fabulous. I would definitely recommend this to everyone.

After previously having an amazing meal from here, i was salvating as i ordered. What i got was below average. My pet peev is when chicken tastes re heated, which it did. Delivery was at the time requested, and the pilar rice was very nice, but apart from that im struggling to say good things apart from got a very strong reusable carrier bag and some plastic microwave containers.

Ordered a takeaway for 3, when it came to sundries I clicked tray of chutneys then clicked poppadoms. When the food came there was a poppadom not poppadoms, the delivery driver phoned The shop then passed the phone to me. The man at the shop was rude argued insisting the spelling of poppadoms was correct that if I wanted more than on they were 50p each. I explained that poppadoms is the plural meaning more than one. Wont be ordering again just for the fact they were so rude.

We don't have a takeaway very often but when we do Bay Leaf is our favourite. The menu is varied and the food is excellent. Generous portions and very flavoursome. Have never had a bad meal from here. Would highly recommend.
