Gelateria Break's Candy - GARDA

We have been to Garda five times and the only place we buy ice cream is here. Definitely the best and a lovely family who have been there for 26 years. So many flavours you will be spoilt for choice. Highly recommended.

Every time we return here at gelateria break's candy we always feel welcomed with warmth and kindness. We are never disappointed, all is perfect. A special place!

We had arrived in Italy just a couple of hours beforehand, dropped our stuff at the hotel in Bardolino and took a stroll up the coast to the next town of Garda. A quick stroll through some of the winding streets of the old town and my wife said she could do with a gelato... A glance around and there was Break's Candy, a beacon of cold frozen goodness in the unexpectedly warm weather... My wife had a cup, I had a cone and both were wonderful. Smooth and intensely flavoured, not artificial at all, and just what we needed! The place was small, no seating inside, but a handy bench outside where you can stop and watch the world go by, and see the locals popping in (always a good sign). The staff were perfectly friendly and spoke much better english than I did Italian (thank goodness). A great experience we can't wait to repeat!

Very good meat, we took them to coconut and strawberry. They were creamy and very good! Ice creams are a guarantee, good with refined tastes but also classics! Among many the best
