Hook Reel Cajun Seafood - Gaithersburg

The host to the wait staff to the back of the house, were all very friendly. Customer service gets above five stars. The menu was easy to read easy to comprehend and easy to pick from. The food was absolutely amazing. I really appreciate how attentive the staff was after we had received our order which was a very short eight minute wait. The waiter we had was so kind, that the chips I really like they put on the table. He gave me a to go box. I really love this restaurant. And it really fix the blue crab craving. I appreciate you still being open, and I appreciate the very high-quality. We are certainly going to visit again.

The food here is amazing! I loved the calamari and shrimp. My husband also enjoyed his fried oysters. Some of the staff could be trained a little better, but I figure these people are new hires. The restaurant is clean and they have a lot of indoor seating. No outdoor seating but you can definitely order delivery or pickup. I?d definitely give this place a try again, the food and drinks are very good; I just hope the staff will be a little more professional next time.

The seafood at Hook Reel definitely satisfied our seafood craving. We ordered the hush puppies as a starter and for entrees we had the shrimp po boy and fried catfish. The food came quickly and was hot, fresh and flavorful. We would come back again for sure.

Arrived on a Saturday night around 6pm. 30 minute wait bc there was a few servers on. It got busy around 6:30. Waiting area got crowded. Service was great! She explained the menu as it was my first time here. There was a DJ playing music, which was loud to have a conversation. Restrooms were not clean. Overall experience, definitely worth coming back? so much food and beyond full.

While I don't quite get the whole eating without utensils thing, yes I realize I could have asked for a fork, the seafood boil I got was very good! I can highly recommend the garlic butter sauce. Also our server Victoria, and the rest of the staff, was absolutely fantastic. She made my daughter's birthday a success!
