Bidrage med feedbackAs a local, my family and I have been frequenting this restaurant for quite some time, mainly because they are dog-friendly and our furry friend no longer wants to be left behind. Booking a table online was a breeze, and we were even able to specify where we wanted to sit. When we arrived on time, we were warmly welcomed and seated by the window. The interior of the restaurant was stylish and did not resemble a typical railway station, with a long bar and traditional pub features. The staff were attentive and promptly brought our drinks. We ordered from the extensive grill menu, which came with a complimentary bottle of wine. Our dishes included kebabs, rump steak, and chicken with sauce, all of which were delicious and cooked to perfection. We also enjoyed a glass of chardonnay each, which was listed at £14.75 but was actually complimentary as it was a Friday special. The menu offered a wide variety of options, including vegan dishes. Our dog had a great time mingling with other canine guests and was served a bowl of water without us even asking. The service was excellent, and our server definitely earned his tip. We left the restaurant feeling satisfied and even brought home a portion of our delicious meal to enjoy later with a good bottle of wine. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience.
We visited this restaurant on a Friday night to catch a local band performance. I was impressed by the size and spaciousness of the place when I booked a table. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We had a great night with delicious food and reasonably priced drinks. We will definitely be returning soon.
So we love it here and again it didn’t disappoint We went for the Whitney tribute on Sunday and had a meal before the show You can’t fault the food, drinks or service but the tribute wasn’t the best and we were surprised that it wasn’t busier The staff and location are very good and we’d recommend it to anyone who’s not been Great outdoor area which must be very good on a sunny day If you’ve not tried it then do it’s next door to the station
This is really good food at a reasonable price. The staff are all most friendly and helpful, we initially had booked for a party of 6 but it turned out to be 9 people, it wasn't a problem for the staff at all. i would recommend it above most other places in Lytham.
We visited the Station for lunch on Friday 26th July 2024. I chose my food from the Specials chart and my wife had soup of the day tomato and red pepper and the posh fish pie. I chose lamb koftas and then scampi with chunky chips and a side salad. The first thing you notice is that everything is prepared after you order. The soup tasted as if made on site and was lovely and my wife kept saying how good the fish pie was with meaty chunks of white fish and king prawns. My lamb koftas with tzatziki tasted every bit as good as eating them in Greece and there was plenty of scrumptious beautifully cooked scampi with crisp chunky chips. I opted for a side salad as there were no garden peas available and I was not disappointed. With drinks the total cost was just £50 which is excellent bearing in mind the quality and quantity of what was served up. The Station pub and grill is now on our preferred list and we will go back. The staff are friendly and attentive without being pushy.
