Vinny's - Friday Harbor

We were very happy to get a table here at 5 pm without a reservation after going to another restaurant that didn't have any high chairs. The hostess was extremely kind and did everything she could to make our toddler happy during our meal. The food and wine were both delicious and all of the staff was attentive.

Worth visiting. One of the better restaurants on San Juan Island.

This is a good higher end Italian restaurant with amazing service. You will pay a little extra due to the location on a touristy island but the quality of the food and beverages is very good.

Sad to say that Vinny's was not up any standards for our party of Six. 1. Attempted to make a reservation, but was told that we would not need one. When we arrived that was the first question, about a reservation. We had to wait an additional 30 minutes, but were accommodated. 2. The Risotto was under cooked and the rice was hard in the center. The Lasagna appeared to be a burned Ravioli, berried in meat sauce. Some of which was un-eatable, and too hard to cut with a knife. 3. Service was rally slow and not consistent. All refills had to be requested each time as we were given no attention. This is not a place that I would ever recommend, and would never return to. We felt like Vinny's was doing us a favor by allowing us to eat there.
