New City Chinese Cuisine Dim Sum And Mandarin

Great Cantonese food! Born and raised in Hong Kong, New City's Dimsum is pretty good. There are no lots of options, but most of the dimsum tastes above average. And being in Fresno where I feel has a lack of good Chinese/cantonian food presence, I will recommend New City to anyone I know. Dimsum I suggest Porridge (one of the best I had! , rice rolls, lotus wrap rice, tripe, chives, siu mai I was also for dinner time in New City as well as ordering from their huge selection menu. I had great experience! A la carte I suggest steamed whole fish (with soy sauce, snow peas in garlic sauce, petting beans in XO sauce, salt and pepper pork beak Overall I enjoy New City's food every time I go, and I would like to thank the cook for preparing this local food for people. I and my family are back every weekend we found New City. Will always come and upload delicious food pictures!

Large portions with authentic Cantonese dishes! Your kung pao chicken is brilliant

Perfect place to order catering from, there’s something for everyone. Lots of variety and on time delivery. Definitely recommend New City Chinese, Tracy the manager is amazing.

Actually if it’s possible, I would rate New City Chinese Cuisine a 4.5 star. Their food is good, not salty or greasy (like a lot of chinese restaurants do). Taste of the food can be hit-or-miss, I’d say 80% of dishes I tried tastes EXCELLENT, the remaining 20% of dishes are not my taste, but please note that it doesn’t mean the dishes are bad, just not to my personal taste. The interior of the restaurant seems a little out-dated, but it is kept fairly clean and neat considering that it’s an older building. The service at New City is great! They are always so busy but they keep a keen eye for all their customer and will tend to your needs if you need any. It’d be more welcoming if they can greet with more smiles. I have no complaint about their service but it could be better.

New City is my family’s go to Chinese restaurant. Unfortunately, tonight, July 17, 2022, it broke my heart. The beef chowmein i ordered for pick-up was not cooked but already burnt. Not satisfied.
