Max's Bistro. - Fresno

I am sure why the server ask if it is a special occasion because it is never recognized. we came to the jubilee last night and the time before it was my birthday. it would be better not to ask. Anyway, eating is always good. the service was okay, she was nice, but not attentive. she did not tell us about the specials and we got our drinks (ordered first) after we finished the appetizers. my man remembered when he was asked how the appetizer was, and he said, "it would have been better with our drinks" lol!

Max’s serves a great lunch! my favourite place for lunch. exceptional service!

Upon entering the restaurant, we were ignored by the server for several minutes as she was just entering data on the computer terminal. The service was slow and had to wait a long time and intervene for the check. Service has degraded over the years. I am willing to try again, maybe the crew is overworked.

Customer service was spectacular, i made a reservation for my anniversary and was very pleased. Food is amazing, art is amazing and the vibes of the entire place was a great experience.

Excellent service and food (again). Samantha was our Server...very attentive. We had the Truffle Fries and the Charcuterie Board as appetizers, along with Kale Caesar Salad. I had the Kobe Meatloaf (5 Stars) with Mashers and Green Beans Almondine. Brother had the 6oz Filet, which was cooked to a perfect Medium. I gave the Noise Level a thumbs down only because the man at the adjacent table (literally 3 feet away) bellowed non-stop during our entire dining experience. The Service Staff had to raise their voices to us in order for us to hear them. Not Max 's fault that we now know this guy 's entire life story.
