On The River - Freeport

I went in about 3PM today to have a steak. My steak was perfect, the potatoes were awesome and the fried pickles were the best I've ever had. To top it off, Dave my server did an amazing job representing the restaurant with excellent, friendly service.

The service was great. And the food IS ALWAYS great. Waiter was on his game. The Coleslaw and cornbread was great as always. Would recommend this to everyone.

Our group totaled 35 people each and everyone of us got excellent service. Highly recommend on the river.

My hubby took me here today for lunch and Patsy was our waitress. She was awesome!! She was very personable, attentive and took great care of us. We absolutely think she deserves a raise. She had us laughing the whole time and the food was great!! We will definitely be back here and will request her as our waitress. Thank you Patsy for making our lunch so great!! I wish I could give more stars but 5 is all it would let us give.

Where to start? At the beginning, I guess! Larry was our waiter, as well as our bar tender. The Patron Margaritas were very tasty! Then the cornbread was brought out...WOW! Could have easily made a meal out of that stuff! Next came the “Krab au Gratin”. Meal #2 for sure! Shari had the Gumbo. Says it was good! I had the Stuffed Shrimp ! It was good also! I will definitely go back to this place next time I’m in Freeport, TX!
