El Agave Mexican Cuisine - Freehold

I wish 4.5 was an option on ratings. This place is a total small hole in the wall with a cool vibe and decor. They don't have a lot of tables but they were able to accommodate our group of 8 without much of an issue, it was a Thursday but they were also pretty full (always a good sign). The food is very good, some dishes better than others but really very good. I'm also particular about mole sauce, seems to be a telltale of a quality restaurant and their mole is really good. I ordered it on the side of my burrito and poured it over top. This is a great place for dinner, they do BYOB, and the prices are good. We've been twice and will go again.

This place is great! Whoever gives this a 1 star must think Taco Bell is authentic Mexican. Hidden gem for sure!

First time trying this place, went out with family. With so many places to eat in boro it’s easy to overlook but this place had great food, great light background music, and fast charming service. Serving sizes were perfect, the chimichanga was bangin, no wallet pain either. Will definitely eat here
