Worst Deli - Fredericksburg

Used to visit this establishment often when I worked closer to the area. Today, was up that way and decided to place an order; just as I remember it, great food at a great price! Try the country burrito or the combo club! Also, even with the lunch rush, the gentleman processing orders and handing them out (among other tasks) was extremely polite. Considering how busy the place was, he was handling everything with the utmost care and giving each customer their due attention. Fantastic service!

I was in the Fredericksburg area to go fix my car and stumbled upon this deli shop that sells a mix of American and Korean inspired sandwiches. Obviously what caught my eye was the Bulgogi sub that contained Bulgogi (sliced ribeye in a soy saucemarinade), lettuce, tomato, mayo, a soft white bread and some mayo. The sandwich was the peak example of what every sub should be, big but easy to eat, not dry at all, lots of meat and great balance from the veg. Pretty simple ingredients, but it felt so homemade and yummy that I would order it again especially from seeing the power duo in the back operating the kitchen. Just a lovely small sandwich shop with great prices.

Pretty decent price wise. Nothing spectacular. The home fries are not good.

Got Food Poisoning from here on January 26, 2023. We 've ordered from here one previous time, but after darn near killing me a few days ago we will not order from here again. I had the beef Bulgogi sub. Tasted fine going down but horrible coming back up. Was either on the toilet or hugging the toilet from 2:30 PM (1 hour after eating) until 4:30 AM the next day. It was the only thing I had eaten that day as I don 't typically eat breakfast. The first time we ordered from there the sandwiches and fries were just ok but cold both times, nothing to shout about, but nothing to stop us from going back either. Usually we give 3 strikes before banning a restaurant, but I think attempted murder automatically adds an additional strike or two. On the upside the staff seemed nice both times we got food from there. Honestly, buyer beware. My wife dodged the bullet but she had a completely different meal and different container. I 'm all about supporting local businesses, especially restaurants for this area, but this one won 't be getting my support anymore. They truly lived up to their name of The Worst Deli!
