Fischer Platz - FRANKENMUTH

Cool place to listen to some live music and try some local and craft beers. Have fun.

Usually this is a great place, but they did not open until 4:00 on Friday in the Oktoberfest. This was always our first stop on the way to Oktoberfest and they were not even open on such a beautiful day. Please be open next year.

This band is so brilliant and Gust was also great. I'd see her again and again.

A fun place to spend an afternoon / evening! Of course, I'm probably biased because I know Linda Lee (the main actress on the weekend) for about 2/3 of my life, but regardless of... it's still beautiful! Just a heads-up; Eating and drinking are expensive outside (a bottle of Bud or Miller Lite will give you back $4 but you will get free entertainment to make it). Make sure you can sit under the umbrellas and/or wear sunscreen... that sun can be brutal! Prosit!

We visited Fischer Platz today for lunch. The ambiance is nice as we enjoyed some live music. It was pleasant sitting outside under covered umbrellas. We had to order at the bar. We got two chicken Caesar wraps $11.50) a piece, spicy pickles and two sodas. The total came to a little over $45 with tip. The meal came in plastic containers. We had to get our own straws, utensils and napkins from another table. There was a black ant drawling on the bar that I pointed out to the bar tender as it was right by out drinks. There was something in my son?s drink that he had to dig out. The sandwiches and fried pickles were tasteless. It was impossible to make out that they were even pickles. There was no flavouring at all to the sandwich or pickles. It was the worst food I?ve ever had in Frankenmuth for that amount of money. I would come here again, but for only drinks, not food. It just isn?t worth it.
