Bidrage med feedbackFantastic eating and culinary experience in continuing walton beach! highly recommended for lunch and dinner!
Amazing experience all around. The staff were wonderful, the food was delicious and unique (you really can't get it anywhere else), and the dessert! I've never had strawberry tiramisu before, but it was beyond amazing. Portions are large, so be sure to bring your second stomach.
For those who don?t want to read the whole review, just read this: Flambé After Dark is the best dining experience in the panhandle, and you?d be missing out if you don?t go. What can I say but wow. My fiancé and I came here for a belated valentines dinner, and from the moment we entered the restaurant, we knew we were in for a treat. David?the chef?greeted us immediately and introduced us to Katie?our waitress?who brought us to a table set intimately for two. After handing us our menu, David detailed his background and explained the flow of the dinner service. Over the course of the two hour meal, we felt like nothing short of family. Regarding the food itself, David?s experience and passion were evident in the meal, which was cooked perfectly and presented beautifully. Courses were impeccably timed and the food was fresh, hot, and unbelievably tasty. From appetizer to dessert, everything was perfect. This was hands down the best meal I?ve had on the emerald coast, and I?d recommend it to anyone and everyone! If you live within 100 miles, do yourself a favor and make a reservation.
This is the rare type of cuisine that you bite into and it releases SO MUCH dopamine in your brain that you 're left temporarily stunned, unable to speak, unable to do anything but ruminate on what you 've just been privileged enough to taste. For this dinner, you are the 0.01% of humanity that has tasted something so exquisite, and so fairly priced! Oh, never experienced that? Well go visit David at Flambé After Dark. I 'm from out of town and thinking of buying in the Ft. Walton area. Flambé After Dark is SO GOOD that it literally resides in the Pros side of my Pros Cons list regarding moving to Ft. Walton. David and his team are very easy to connect with and talk to, and what he 's doing here is special. I grew up in New York, lived in Boston and now reside in Atlanta and nothing compares to this. David is not just a chef, he is an artist, but the food serving size is not skimpy like many artist like places and it is absolutely and astonishingly amazing. Going here should be a Commandment so that everyone has a watermark on what the best truly is.
If you haven?t experienced Flambé After Dark, please grab your favorite human and make reservations. The atmosphere is a step back into a more simple yet glamorous time, when quality and company were top priority. You leave the world outside the door. David shares his extensive art, furniture and vintage dish collection as though he?s invited you into his living room to indulge in all of his treasures. From the goblets, silverware , plates and compotes, no detail left unloved. All to lavish his guests. The food and wine? There aren?t words in the English language to do it justice. It?s passion and divine gifts shared, plate after plate?glass after glass. Enchanting? Exquisite? Ecstatic? (Still not enough) You aren?t a number, there?s no rush. It?s an invitation to savor and value so much that seems lost these days. You leave vowing to capture more of that outside of the doors, to use the good dishes at home and to make all occasions special ones. We all need more of this. Kiel and Carolyn T.
