On June 29, 2023, I ordered from the 2 for 1 pizza menu and was surprised to find that I was being overcharged for my pizza choices. I am aware of the basic 2 for 1 policy where you pay the price of the higher priced pizza. I ordered a 15" large pizza priced at $31.00 and a Mama's Mistake large pizza priced at $33.00. I had no problem paying the higher price of $33.00 for both pizzas, but when I added pepperoni and green peppers to the 15" pizza at $1.00 per topping, the total price for both pizzas came to $33.00. However, the restaurant wanted more money by increasing the price of the 15" pizza to match the Mama's Mistake at $33.00, and adding an extra $2.00 for the toppings (which were already on the Mama's Mistake pizza). This meant I was essentially being charged twice for the toppings. If I had ordered two Mama's Mistake pizzas without the added toppings, the price would have remained at $33.00 for both pizzas. This practice of charging higher prices for pizzas and then adding additional charges for toppings is unfair. Despite the good quality of the pizza, I cannot support a restaurant that engages in overcharging and has a manager who is not willing to address customer concerns.

The delivery was 45 minutes late compared to the estimated time. The pizza was extremely soggy, making the crust inedible, indicating it had been left in the delivery bag for a long time. When we called to complain, the restaurant was unapologetic and rude.

The restaurant had very few customers and the service was slow. The French onion soup was disappointing, tasting more like salty beef broth. The sandwich and French fries were both overly greasy, requiring us to use three napkins to soak up the excess oil before attempting to eat them. While some customers seemed satisfied with their meals, my experience was not enjoyable and I would not recommend this restaurant.

A review on another site mentioned a long wait for food. As we were seated the server warned us that it would take 45 minutes for our meals because there was only one person in the kitchen that night. Also the restaurant side was full and we would have to sit in the lounge. The server was very friendly and kept checking up on us. The menu was quite extensive. It took me a while to decide between 5 or 6 entrees that sounded interesting. The food did take 45 minutes, but it was delicious! I had bbq ribs. At first it didn't look like there would be enough food to fill me. But the portion was perfect. Service and food were both wonderful. We have witnessed many food establishments having difficulty with staffing recently. These employees, especially the cook that night, deserve kudos for delivering such a fabulous dining experience! Great pricing too.

Simple meals, wide range of options, none of the meals suck, just good hearty simple meals that hit the spot when you are looking for a hot meal.
