Royal Canadian Legion - Fort Erie

Every Friday afternoon/seventh the legion holds a fish Fry. The food was good and service was also fast. We'll go a few times every year.

Overlooking the Peace Bridge, Niagara River and Lake Erie the Legion provides a great venue for socializing, for a casual drink, a game of pool or meeting place for veterans and non-veterans alike. The fish and chips on a Friday night are wonderful. It provides...a much needed service as well as recognizing and saluting our veterans and current military personnel. A great place.

It's a lot....and the fish is not greasy unlike many fish and chip shops. These days $9.50 (1 piece of fish) or $12,50 (2 pieces of fish) plus frits, Koleslaw or mixed veg of the day and a role is a pretty good offer....The ladies who serve are friendly and efficient. The main dining room does not have much in the way of the atmosphere, but at this price I will myself for that.
