Bidrage med feedbackLate lunch on a wednesday never tasted so good!We had the open steak sandwich, and the pea soup. Both were superb. Great service, maintaining the old school vibes.
Cute little cafe. Was recommended by a friend so paid a visit on a week day night. Night started quiet but it did get busier on the night. <br/ <br/ Garlic bread was nice and crunchy, love a crunchy garlic bread. Calamari salad was really nice, possibly one of the best calamari I have ever had. Main I had the chicken risotto and it was so nice! My friend's prawn spaghetti didn't seem to impress. Dessert was just a cake in the cake display and it was ok. Will be back for the yummy risotto again!
Used to pop in to Mario’s a couple of times a week when I lived round the corner, always superb service and great consistent dishes, its not such a regular haunt these days now it’s a touch further away but lunch over the Easter break made me realise how good it is and that I should make the effort to pop in more often : The Amatriciana was perfect and went down all the better with a couple of reds. Both Mario’s on duty today was a pleasure to say hello, have missed the place :
Mid week late lunch stopover. Very busy but two wait staff from different sides of the cafe were quick to acknowledge our presence and offer suitable seating. Menus were in front of us in a blink as was water and an offering of bread. The lunch specials looked enticing and after talking about it later, offered excellent value. The Penne with Broccolini, Garlic, Anchovies, Chilli Thyme Pangrattato was absolutely magnificent. Reasonable wines.Cannot wait to get back for another memorable meal.
Been here twice now and its just amazing. Small little place but staff and food are just brilliant.<br/ Coffees are also good.<br/ Wish this place was closer to home, so could go all the time.<br/ Highly recommend!<br/
