Less than average values. I could buy the same product in the super market and cook it better. most foods are frozen or tasteless, service is cheap.

Serves typical Catalonian foods in an quaint setting. If you're looking for quality/price, you want to come here. The food is quite good as well as the wines. The staff is friendly and helpful

Charming interiors with old furniture and floor coverings. we had the tomato soup, snails and steals. all were good. also the service is efficient.

I was recommended Can Punyetes by the hotel, as it serves Catalan food. On a Sunday night it was certainly moderately busy with locals, which is always a good sign. I had a salad Xato' (a sort of pink sauce made with almonds dressing a...salad with anchovies and salted cod), and some lovely octopus classically cooked with potatoes. Judging plate size in Spain can be tricky, and with these two, I was glad they didn't have any padron peppers, as I don't think I could have squeezed them in. A nice small carafe of local red, and I was a happy man.
