Mac's Speed Shop - Fayetteville

So I would post photos but I already dug in (I was starvIN) I got the burnt ends and a side of slaw. It was $22.14. So overall flavor is good however I got such a small amount of meat for the price of $16.00. Sure it’s meant to be an appetizer but still… it is 45% fat and maybe about a cups worth of meat. I don’t know, you make the call if it’s worth it to you. Slaw tastes fine but it was chopped up really small and had a lot of syrup like sauce on it. Not much substance. So overall, I’m pretty disappointed but I’m still gonna eat it.

Great place for BBQ. We tried a couple of appetizers and a shareable entrée. The pork rinds were still popping as we ate them. The burnt ends were delicious.

The food was perfect and the service was just as good. This BBQ is definitely unique for the area based on what I’ve seen. I can’t recommend this place enough. I would go to say this is the best BBQ in town. They have a wide variety of beers and food so you are guaranteed to find what you’re looking for here. Make sure you order the hush puppies.

The food is usually really good. We have been coming here pretty regularly for a few years now. We were disappointed the last time we were there. The food seemed to be almost nuked (overcooked and dry…. Most likely cooked a few days prior) and then they changed their military discount (we used to always get like 25% off our bill, now it’s 25% off one item) which made the meal extremely expensive and just no longer worth it to us. Sad but I guess that’s how it goes!

Pulled pork was great and there was a nice selection of beers on draft. The mac and cheese was also surprisingly good.
