Txoko en the ritz-carlton abama , tiene una excelente comida cabe destacar los tartar, las piparras, la txuleta de atún y todo servido excelentemente y la calidad de la pluma ibérica para derretirse

Ya son nuestras terceras vacaciones en este hotel y siempre venimos a cenar a este restaurante. Los platos son muy especiales, convirtiendo una sencilla presa ibérica en un gran manjar gracias a la manera de tratar el plato, o el impresionante tartar de tomate, que parece que estuvieras comiendo un tartar de solomillo de carne roja de gran calidad (por poner un par de ejemplos). Pero lo que de verdad hace que la cena sea toda una experiencia es Aaron. Su manera de tratar a los clientes, de explicar cada plato y de asesorar en función de los gustos de los comensales es realmente única. Gracias por tres cenas magníficas! Volveremos el año que viene!

It was unfortunate that we had to overcome an unpleasant initial encounter with front of house staff regarding outside seating we had taken careful steps to arrange. But after that, the evening was most enjoyable with quality food and an efficient, helpful server.

The food was good, but the service really let it down. We had originally booked for 20:45, then agreed we would come at 21:00 when it was more quiet but then didn’t get seated until 2120. The man who took our order was quite patronising and borderline rude. When I asked for our steak to be cooked medium rare, he asked me to clarify a couple of times and then insisted on showing me a picture of what medium rare steak looked like… as if I hadn’t eaten a steak before. Then when I ordered fries to share he again checked with me and then my husband that I was sure I only wanted one portion of fries. It got to the point whenever I answered a question he would then look to my husband who ended up telling him to just go with whatever I said… I would expect better than this from this standard of restaurant. The food was delicious but the service left a bad taste. I personally wouldn’t visit again.

Following a very disappointing dinner, we decided to return to this restaurant for lunch to give it another chance, and this time we were not disappointed at all. Our son had a cheeseburger and we both had the club sandwich, all very generous portions, beautifully presented and very delicious. We also shared a passion fruit panna cotta for desert which was amazing. From the moment we were seated Karim and his staff went above and beyond making this the most memorable lunch of our entire holiday. We would highly recommend and can only imagine that our previous experience must have been a one off.
