Bidrage med feedbackThe food here while expensive is delicious and worth the price! It is a well kept place. Service depends on the waiter honestly but they are always friendly. Helpfulness is what often depends.Doing the show part of it is rather fun to watch! Usually my husband and I dine in normal seating as it's quiet and nice to just enjoy a meal and time together. Dietary restrictions: Thankfully there isn't much I've had to encounter for dairy allergy here. I will warn the ginger salad dressing does have whey in it. I used it all the time and it's delicious but when I became allergic unfortunately we learned it does contain some dairy in it.Otherwise I'd say it's a fairly friendly for any restrictions.
The restaurant is a bit dated, and the service can be slow. But the food is always cooked to my liking (Love it when they throw a little extra egg in the rice). Its a good place for kids, especially on their birthday, as they have a fun dragon that comes out.
Five of us went to Shogun for my birthday. I ordered the filet mignon, my husband and daughters had steak and chicken, and my granddaughter had the kids chicken. The food was moderately good, but really salty. The chef didn't do any entertainment. All the other tables were excited and laughing as the chef interacted with them. Our chef went through the motions but didn't say a word about what he was doing. He also only asked the other people at the table how they wanted their steaks cooked, but not us. My husband ended up getting his attention and telling him. My daughter thought maybe he just didn't like our table, but we saw him at another table later and it was the same. All the people at his new table looked just as disappointed as we felt. People go to these restaurants for the entertainment. Otherwise we could go to any Japanese restaurant where they cook the same food in the back. On a separate note, they have both kid and adult chopsticks, you just have to ask.Overall just an okay experience for a Friday night, but less than desirable for a birthday.
Awesome hibachi show with delicious food but tad pricey compared to other similar hibachi steakhouses I’ve been to. Went with my son and he got the kids salmon meal $13 drink for $3.50. I got the steak meal for $25 with drink $4. With tax was $50. Tipped 20% and out the door at $60. Portions were great. Food and service was great ?? though Kid-friendliness: They have a kids hibachi menu
