This place is a waste of time if you want good bbq. The brisket was dry the beans hard and the fried pickles greasy I paid for a 2 meat plate and only got 1 meat. Went there today got a sliced brisket sandwich , half of it was jelly fat , thrower it away , payed top dollars for a jelly fat sandwich , I WILL NEVER EAT THERE AGAIN , IT WAS GOOD PLACE YRS AGO, Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I'm a truck driver so I have frequently been through here especially pre COVID, I contracted out of Palestine Texas @walmart DC, so pretty familiar with this area... So I just knew if they were open I was gonna get would get an awesome meal... Well not so much, the sausage link was dry and the chopped brisket sandwich was greasy and the sauce was very ketchupy but the fried okra was good... Just being honest, the service was OK, the young lady that rang me up was awesome, she had a great personality also the lady that was at the counter when I left was very nice, but the vibe of the place has really gone down but maybe it was just today.

Brisket was good, hotlinks super dry. Service was great, very nice folks. Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
